New Free Activity - Scandinavian Folk Dancing Workshops When: June 6
Time:
1:30-4:30pm Location: King of Kings Lutheran Church, 3621 Socialville-Foster Rd, Mason, OH 45050
NOTE: MAY 23 & JUNE 13 EVENTS CANCELLED; ADDITIONAL CLASSES WILL BE HELD IN THE FALL.
All are invited to these fun meetings! Harry Khamis, International Folk dance Instructor, will lead us to learn Scandinavian folk dances. No
prior experience is needed and you do not have to come with partner. We’ll start from scratch and during the workshops,
we will learn basic, traditional dance forms- all in a fun, dancer-friendly atmosphere. Please wear casual, comfortable
clothing and shoes that are good for pivoting on the floor. The workshop will last a few hours with dance lessons
and several breaks in between. Each session we learn more and review & practice the previous session’s dances.
You do not have to attend all the sessions even we do hope that you will. Bring something to drink and if you wish,
please bring a snack that we can
leave out on the table.

Midsummer Picnic and Celebration Sunday June 27 3:30 pm. Location: Amphitheater Shelter at Keehner
Park in West Chester Directions:
From I-75 N take Tylersville Road East to Cox Road, Turn Right goes to intersection with Barret Road. Turn Right follow Barret
to Stop Sign at T-intersection, Turn Left follow Barrett to second Keehner Park entrance on the Left, the Midsummer Picnic is at the Amphitheater Shelter. Cost: $5.00 per adult - $3.00 for all children (0-21 years
of age) in your family! You
can bring friends, visitors, tall tales, and musical instruments. Hope to see you there!!
